Johnny Otto is a filmmaker with the spirit of a true independent artist. He began his journey when he was 6 years old shooting super 8 films with his brothers and sisters and the neighborhood kids.

When he was 19 he attended film school in Canada where he made the experimental, award-winning short "The Ecstasy Barbershop".
After moving to Los Angeles in 1990, he spent a decade writing scripts, polishing his craft, waiting for technology to catch up with his indie visions: To create films without studios, lights, or crew.
In 2006 Otto purchased his first digital camera, giving him the freedom to create films and videos with very little budgets.
